Cold War pranced on the end of the lead rope as he neared the pasture where a buckskin paint mare stood. Dinhareth had been leased from OVEC to breed to Smoky Ridge's best eventing stallion, Cold War. The groom unclipped his lead and watched as the brisk morning air rushed along War's sides as he galloped to his mare. She wasn't nearly as excited, and pinned her ears as soon as she looked up from grazing to see him flying at her. He hardly noticed and whinnied excitedly to her, eyes bright. She spun around and ignored him, whisking her tail back and forth as if he was a pesky fly. For a single moment War looked totally defeated, but it was only another moment until he cantered closer and put his neck over hers in what looked like a horse hug. Dinhareth looked severely put off, her pinned ears unmoving, though she didn't move while War nearly flattened her mane with his neck. Maybe this would work out.

I AM SO EXCITED! This is going to be one gorgeous baby. I have some idea what the foal will be like, but I'm not entirely sure as of yet.. we'll have to wait and see!
I actually did this in greyscale as an experiment, I think it turned out pretty well.
