No old just said. "You at your face! Total paralysis now. couldn't even talk. won't last long! yo"

The drawing interupts the text flow and creates new meanings. And those new meanings actually fit the original meaning. This has some interesting similarities to the dadaist cut-up technique that was made popular by Burroughs. I think this really fits the book and adds a new quality to it. The drawing itself is awesome as well!
Great work, dude!

Thanks! I think I am going to have to dig up some more old books or go through some charity shops to find books to draw in and discover new phrases and sentences around the picture.

Neat idea! I like the contrasts and the whole idea about painting on a page! Nicely painted, i would get confused by all those letters, but you have done it pretty well i must admit

That is really very cool. Great idea, using the page itself as a canvass. Is that all using a felt tip pen? Did you pencil it out first or just go for it? I can't draw at all so it always impresses me when artists can produce realistic portrayals of people. Particularly in this case, where you only effectively have blocks of black or white to work with.

Thankyou. It was a berol fineliner pen I think, yeah! But definitely penciled in first to make sure everything's on point.

you do realise that page 133 is entirely unreadable now? and that's a pivotal page.

I love it though, despite myself.
