Yarrr! This originally was fer th' monthly Artisan collab over on Eden Enchanted ! The base be by ~Chama , and the character be my own Red Handed Blue, dressed in something like me own pirate garb, yarrrr!Red Handed Blue was a Spanish noblewoman, originally. She had this long name, like 7 names all strung together. But when she was a kid, she got kidnapped by pirates for the ransom money. They sent a note to her family, demanding funds, but what they didn't realize was that her family, while noble, was also dirt poor. And while dirt poor, was also VERY PROUD, so they couldn't get her back or they'd reveal the truth.
Instead of admitting they didn't have the money, they just refused to negotiate with pirates. And left her on the crew. So she grew up with the pirates, became one, changed her name.. And no one came for her.
When she was 14, her family sent people to rescue her. And she refused to go. Now she's First Mate on the ship the Scarlet Lady And can take anyone in an arm wrestling/brawling match.

I had a character named "Lokelani" in a LARP called Quest for a while, and this was actually her story...her first name was Rosalisa, but that's all I can remember.
Red handed blue is usually my alias, when I can't get 'blue' places -- which is, of course, a Peter Pan reference. In Peter Pan, Wendy tells all kinds of stories about this big fearsome pirate called Red Handed Jack. (:
On top of this, I actually own a full out pirate outfit...I own this hat, plus a bodice like this [but with sleeves], a black dress like this dress, with skirt and shoes and socks...so, yeah, Red Handed Blue is kind of me when I'm in garb.
HOWEVER. A few nights ago, I had this dream in which I actually was her, and the dream merged Lokelani, my old Quest character, with Red Handed Blue. And voila!

haha, sure! her colors are red and blue and purple, with silver and black...the hat is a must...and her hair should actually be red fading to black at the tips.
