Wow. I
my dad's camera. I went out to some kind of gardens belonging to some aristocrats or soething with him + Mum yesterday. This is the result. Dad has a 10 mp canon camera. It's really good. I have some kind of Sony Cybershot. Don't use it much though.Anyway, After about 5 mins of editing I made the image look more beautiful. I think this would make a good wallpaper, but I'm not sure how good the resolution is. It's make a nice print, but I can't afford to do anything like that, well actually, I have some canvas paper, but it's kinda pricey. I'll leave the watermark off, in case anyone wants to download. I took some others, but this is my fave.

What did you edit on gimp and also how do you get the background to blur?

I edited the whole thing on GIMP. The camera focused well on the rose, so the background was already blurred MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA~ I'M A GENIUS.

Filters>Artistic>SoftGlow> play around til you find a good amount o' glow!
