MORAL: Geniuses and musicians don't exactly mix.Gah, it's an old page. xDD I was too lazy to remake the pencil lines. Oh, well. I still hope that you enjoy anyway. :] This marks the first appearance of Erik, the infamous Phantom of the Opera. 8DDD
Here's a quick bio of him before I go to bed:

A student of Oahreely High School, Erik is your typical music-obsessed kid. He has been wearing a mask ever since he was born with face deformities. The poor guy. But that doesn't bother him at all, unless someone forces him to take it off. Wanting to become a musician, he doesn't take school very seriously and would rather play his organ at home. And since Otto is such a 'caring' person, he couldn't stand seeing a student wasting his life and often tries to tutor Erik to do his best in school. Unfortunately, Erik ignores everything and I mean, EVERYTHING Otto says, for he claims that he cannot understand "Geek Talk." Overall, Erik is a nice and comical kid who just happens to hate books. He can read, don't worry.

While this statement was made such a long time ago when I was at a wholly different maturity level that I'm at now, I still have to stand by my classification of his character. Erik is someone who, for the majority of the musical (for all intents and purposes I shall assume that you have not read the magnificent book) he hurt innocents for the sake of pursuing his own selfish desires. He does though redeem himself but this is after he has murdered several people in leading up to the climax.

(reads comic. giggles. frowns as thought comes to head) But... Erik's a genius, too! It's clearly stated in Leroux's novel (the /original/ version of Phantom of the Opera was the novel by that name by Gaston Leroux) and it has been mentioned in the various musicals I've seen and heard about, too! I mean, he built all those torture devices and hideaways and stuff himself! In the novel, he was actually part of the crew who helped /build the Opera house/!!! (covertly, of course) Erik isn't stupid - never has been. He /is/ a genius! (sniffle)
