Description Comments of a Thief:

I felt like doing some gift art for one of the most funniest Sonic fans you could ever meet. And that particular person would be the lovely *ZoDy .

Not only is he one of the funnies people with a unique drawing style, but he is also one of the nicest for it is absolutely fun to talk to him.

He's also one of the best voice actors I met, too. He makes a great Shadow the Hedgehog.

I also wanted to test out coloring without any lines and make it look like a painting. I think that the other one with Sonic was a little to shiny. xDD So I tried to improve a bit.

I find it amazing that it's so difficult to draw a realistic painting of a character and make him look very silly and cheerful. That was the most fun part of this wonderful challenge.

Thank you so much, Zody, for being a good friend of mine. You were great to talk to.

Tools Used:

Photoshop CS2 using the brush, dodge, burn, and smudge tool. I love the smudge tool. They're excellent for making wrinkles.

Time Consumed: 2 hours

I adore this, how soft it looks and everything. I don't usually like the use of dodge and burn to much, it usually makes the image look kinda.. immature I dunno. But you totally make it work, it looks amazing.
