Unless you use a low-end model of the smartphone, that will be your problem. Only a higher end smartphone should be able to run properly, OR unless you're using an outdated OS.

If you look at the specs in phone websites like, [link] , you can tell the Wildfire is not gonna work well for you and I doubt it's gonna support Ice Cream Sandwich. So if you want to get a phone that is hopefully future proof, get a phone with a processor of 1Ghtz, 1.4Ghtz is even better.

Luckily I haven't buy one yet, but I'll make sure that I'll always prepare for new ones, I'm eyeing on the Samsung Galaxy W, not yet released but the specs are reasonable enough for me and yet friendly for my budget.

I'm stuck with my shitty HTC for fucking ages... I don't have money and if i go i want a new phone my parents probably wouldn't buy me a new one...

Woo, that's sad and learn the hard way. Well, I'm a lot worse than you, I'm stuck with my old feature phone and it's already for about 3 years already. But that's ok, since we like Android, Ice Cream Sandwich will be something we should wait while Apple makes it move first, thus Google can see what kind of weaknesses they can find in their next iPhone.

And let's not forget, your phone is much faster than mine, you should be proud of it at least. Although I know you'll be disappointed by those who own better phones than yours.
