Another drawing I did some time ago... A portrait of a snow leopard. This is my first drawing on grey paper, and I loved it! I used black and white FaberCastell pencils.C&C is welcome. Do not share this drawing outside of DA.

LOVE these animals, and the grey paper fits this perfectly. (And if the copyright info had been written other than on his chin, this would be in my favorites; though I can certainly understand why you'd want to protect your rights to this beautiful thing.)

This is incredible, it really caught my eye! Also impressed that it's on grey paper, colored paper always scared me! Your realism is incredible, the proportions and anatomy is spot on as far as I can tell, the only thing for me would be to really bring out the contrast with some more saturated shadows! Some of the detail gets a little bit lost. However overall this is really a very impressive piece!Β

I love the direct eye contact with the cat. I wonder if the leopard is surprised, ready to pounce, or turn away. Intriguing!

Ohmygosh, the depth of shading is just amazing here!!! I really like how the white chest hairs really stand out as well!!
