Description The visit to the growing Luminous Krayfin was indeed a thoroughly enjoyable one. Not only for Grace herself, but also for her beloved Rumblehorn. In their time spent on that island he would have looked to all the world like a dragon half his actual age, given how playfully he had been larking about and how happy he had evidently been. Nonetheless, after some time had passed Grace had thought it best to take him home before he could get too tired; his age made all that playing and travelling quite trying on his olden bones.

After the two of them had bid farewell to the young Leviathan, Grace had flown Hammercrunch back to the School of Dragons from which she had learned so much about dragons and the art of training them. At last her dear dragon would have a chance to rest after their rather strenuous day... alas, however, fate had looked upon them and decided that it wanted to toy with their plans. Just as Grace was preparing to remove the saddle from Hammercrunch's back and take him back to the stables to rest, her attention was seized by the rapid thudding of footsteps behind her. Turning around, she was somewhat surprised to find Snotlout running her way. She considered the man a friend, yes, but he hadn't been one that she'd spoken as much too when compared to her other friends such as Valka and Fishlegs. She wondered what could possibly be so dire as to send him running to her quite that urgently. Snotlout skidded to a halt before her, his boots clumsily skidding across the grass for a moment before he managed to steady himself.

"Grace! Thank Thor - I've been looking everywhere for you!" he exasperatedly managed to say. Grace's expression became one of concern.

"What's wrong?" she asked, worriedly. Beside her Hammercrunch seemed to pick up on the urgency of the situation as well; he snorted smoke out from his nostrils and dragged one of his front feet anxiously against the ground.

"Stormheart... Stormheart's back here and she means business! Dangerously close to Leviathan Island, too," he replied, with urgency that Grace thought to be rare coming from him. "I already found Fishlegs but we needed all the help we could get - they've got Dagur and Mala out there. You can help us out, right?"

Grace's flesh had already paled at the mention of Stormheart's name. Indeed, she remembered that name all too well... she'd been the one to send an enraged Triple Stryke to attack Dragon's Edge, a mother Triple Stryke that she had stolen an egg from. Grace had a soft spot for Triple Strykes within her heart; she had earned the respect of one, an especially aggresive female specimen known as Doomcutter to those who were lucky enough to survive meeting her, and subsequently felt rather displeased when they (or, indeed, any dragon) were treated with such cruelty and disrespect. Grace was gentle by nature, yes, but she was also a reliable woman. In times like this, there was no way she wasn't going to assist however she could.

"Of course, Snotlout! If you head out I'll follow shortly, I just need to get Hammercrunch back into his stable. He's had a busy day," she told the other Viking, whom quickly nodded and scrambled away to find his Montrous Nightmare with which to fly out to assist in stopping Stormheart. Grace turned to her Rumblehorn, ready to lead him back to the stables and set out on the back of one of her more youthful dragons; perhaps her overly-attached Whispering Death or feisty young Triple Stryke would be better suited to this task, given that she did not want to put the elderly dragon in danger's way. To her surprise, however, Hammercrunch loudly snorted and stomped his foot with an echoing thud, tossing his head in an effort to shake off his rider's touch.

"Hammercrunch, please, you've tired yourself out already! I can't risk you getting hurt, sweetheart!" Grace worriedly begged her trusted companion. "I don't know what I'd do if you got hurt..."

But there was no changing Hammercrunch's mind. Rumblehorns were determined creatures when their heart was set on something, she knew that to be true. She'd seen it in Hammercrunch before; he was an intuitive beast and whenever he had the slightest inkling that something might be a danger to the human he had come to trust so dearly he utterly refused to leave her side until he was confident that she was safe. Though concerned for him, Grace managed a smile after shaking her head a little.

"In all my life, I've never known loyalty like yours, my friend," she softly whispered to the Rumblehorn, patting his scales as he impatiently stomped his foot again. She sighed, quietly. "Alright, I'll take you with me... but you must promise me that you won't push yourself too far, do you understand?"

As though in complete understanding of her question, Hammercrunch threw his head up in what would seem to be a primitive 'nod' of agreement. Grace wasted no further time. She mounted up into her dragon's saddle and held on tightly as he took off without so much as the slightest provocation on her part; clearly he was eager to see Stormheart chased away from the place his rider called home. He flew straight up into the skies with speed that seemed to defy a form as bulky as his.

"We can do this, old friend," Grace cooed as they flew, as much to reassure herself as it was to reassure her beloved Rumblehorn.
