Description Gooper Blooper made out of clay and standing about one foot in height. I made him about a year ago around December. Poor little guy had an accident in the kiln and his bottom was blown out and most of his tentacles detached in the blast. A lot of glue and plaster later and he was saved. Taking this guy out of art class was annoying. The whole time people either looked at it a screamed "Mario" or"what the heck is that?" Poor blooper so misunderstood.

Nope. I just made him for fun. I had a ton of free time since my classmates were always finishing their projects late. He's still my favorite.

Thanks. This was the first time I ever had anything explode on me. But I have never made anything this big before. I hope I've learned from that experience.

Even if you learn from it, there's no guarantee that some unknown factor won't trash the next one.

Too true. I had so many close calls with other peoples projects either crushing mine or exploding beside it and having their pieces stick to mine. It seems like no matter how many times you check for air bubbles there's always one that manages to hide in there just waiting to strike.
