This is true! I spent the years 2000-2003 drawing almost nothing but Sailor Moon and, really, who doesn't like Sailor Moon? So when I saw that there is a contest [link] by I wanted to see if I still "had it"
And then I got carried away doing doilies and using my white paint and it was just SO much fun that I decided to post the prototype as official art. So, enjoy

I never have actually seen an episode of Sailor Moon, but I was obsessed with anime the moment I first saw her. I cut out pictures of her from a magazine and pored over them.
