Cute! I actually quite like this eye style. I think you could try adding an outline in a darker color of the eye color. So for blue eyes, a dark blue outline. Just a suggestion!~ <3

I acutally prefer the old eye with a black outline because if the rest of the body is outlined it looks a bit weird for the eye not to have it too. But that's just my opinion, you do what you want. (sorry if you think I was being mean...)
