Description
A friend of mine got me reading the Red Robin comics. I'm usually a Marvel guy to be honest, but I really enjoyed these. The story was strong and sometimes morally ambiguous and found the art to capture the general feel really perfectly.
So - I sat down the other night with my sketchbook and before I know it my random scribblings were turning into Red Robin. I inked it using both pens and brushes and then scanned it in and did the rest in Photoshop.
Haven't really been keep track of how long its taken me because It wasn't until today that I actually really sat down and tried to put some solid work into it.
This has a grittiness to it because I've felt like adding that sort of feel to most of my recent pieces.
