A personal christmas gift for *Tyshea
I love doing these. The tree entirely was a happy accident when I tore the paper where the scarf was heading, on the right side. I do wish I shaded some of it with colored pencil, but otherwise I'm very happy with it. Made with construction paper and Elmer's School Glue, and an off-brand gluestick here and there. The red string is red sewing thread. Border and white circles added in photoshop.

What you did is one of the most incredible pieces I have ever seen done in construction paper. If I had some, I'd try the same thing you just did! It's so clean and polished.

Romaine Hearts is a story I thought I would never get back...and I kept playing with it sadly until I met you.
I was so happy how open you were to hear about it....and especially how much you've helped me with it
RH is very close to my heart...not only did I do it in secret during a very hard time in my life, but I poured my most genuine feelings into it, when my other stories remained very closed off to that part of me.
It may just be a story...but also an extension of my feelings, my strive for art, and definitely...something I used as a vessel for soul-searching.
You have no idea how much I love this gift... and how much I adore you traditional art and paper cut-outs... I can't wait to hold this in my hands..
