This piece features a man who needs no introduction; most of you know him as Gimli from the Lord of the Rings films - John Rhys-Davies (he also provided the voice for Treebeard).Another of his most iconic roles is the charasmatic excavator Sallah in the Indiana Jones movie Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) and its sequel The Last Crusade (1989).
Other notable onscreen appearances include Queen Ester's guardian Mordecai in One Night with the King (2006), and as Leonardo da Vinci in two episodes of Star Trek: Voyager (1997).
He also provided the voices of MacBeth in Disney's Gargoyles (1995-1996), Cassim, Aladdin's father, in the direct-to-video sequel Aladdin and the King of Thieves (1996), Woolie the Mammoth in Cats Don't Dance (1997), and the Harper Jherek in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (2001) as well as its sequel Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II (2004).
