[link] local artist show. this time it's creep cinema. i don't really dig horror movies, but the birds by alfred hitchcock was pretty creepy..... and this is what happened.(i tried to find the most menacing birds possible....)

i use them to know who i have already visited or not... so if i didn't watch someone that i have already given a llama to, i don't have to look in their gallery again.

Ok I am vaguely getting what you youngsters are about! In my day we went to galleries to see art, some high brow some low brow. I liked the ones that were open to anything. Keep up the good work, I bet more people are watching than you know. now Ray Johnson tells me he is joining a new place to show his art, I hope they don't get into censorship of just nudes. I don't know what's got into people. The fastest way to get people to want something is to tell them they can't have it!

well... also, if you allow full nudes then people just take pictures of girls and post them up here, and then people come for just the porn affect because young kids are easy to please.
it's unfortunate that there is no distinction between artistic nudes and just taking pictures of yourself naked and calling it art. for me, it's completely different. yes, you can photograph for yourself nude artistically. beautifully, in fact. but a duck face selfie of you grabbing your boobs is not artistic, to me.
yea. i do look through galleries of everyone that comes in contact with my page. given llamas, comments or favorites. i have found a lot of wonderful people that way.
but i view SO MANY galleries that i can't keep track. and if i have already seen it and am generally not interested, i now have a way of letting myself know.

You make a very good point about nudes as art or porn. I guess I wasn't thinking about this as a 'porn' site but as an 'art' site, but it could degenerate very quickly if 'anything' was allowed.

My wife and I had a large collage assemblage that was in a big show that was in 10 cities in the US and 4 cities in Japan many years ago.Β At no point was our piece censored as it had no nudity in it, however, in some cities and Japan nudes were pulled from the show and not displayed at all. It was very hurtful to artists who had loaned their works to the exhibition. The pieces were included in the catalog but not in all exhibits. I guess that is what I was thinking about. The show was '2Β X Immortal: Elvis and Marilyn'.
