OMG thank you for the art it is so nice of you T_T! sorry to comment late i was trying to set some time to write down the story
there is a story behind her actually...i made her when i was 15 (2013?) and got inspired when i was on a train
the "normal" world in the storys universe is all in black and white. one day when she is on a train the door opens and everything is normal but theres like a dot of color on the platform. so she goes out even though its not her stop and she goes into the color world which is like. watercolor looking? its all nature also, no one else is there. that is how far i got haha. she can travel back to the b/w world somehow too idk that part yet. sometime in the story she like drinks some color and becomes the color form on the ref!
i also was starting to learn japanese at that time and i wanted a japanese character and to make a manga haha...i thought the black and white contrast with color would be interesting visually ^_^ i was really a beginner so no way i was going to write a whole story in japanese though. also making comics is so much work =[
your idea of a game sounds really interesting, like switching between the b/w and color world could unlock different things to let you progress or something??

i looked it up the color thing is similar =] ! i might play it since im on spring break...and i am a puzzle lover
i tried working with rpgmaker like 2 years ago it was so complicated though x_x i am actually majoring in computer science, we are just starting graphics so maybe ill get to a skill level where i could actually try to make something from the ground up ^_^
