So, the long-delayed 'Back to Basics' approach is finally here (I finally plunked my ancient version of Photoshop on my new computer). Minimal or no photoshopping for the foreseeable future, just the sculpts.Anyway, this is Barrett Wallace from Final Fantasy VII. Not much to be said--I didn't sculpt him one way or the other. By that, I mean I did kind of a blend between realistic features, and his in-game counterpart.

Dang! I like the crazed, determined look in his eyes and his generally grizzled appearance (almost scary, like the kinda guy who would hold a jackknife to your throat in a heartbeat.)

It's been a long time since I did this sculpt, so I don't recall what I was going for in his expression, but now that I look at it, yeah he does look a bit...super driven.
