The main reason this is coming as a new deviation is because the old version of this frontal angle of Sin is chock full of "this guy stole this picture"
that I've long since gotten over. So, I'd rather not drag all that baggage along onto this one. So as I'm not a big fan of the original picture used, I went all photoshop bonkers on it, and now I like it again
. Hmm, maybe Lucas wasn't all that nutty for tinkering with his stuff
... Anyway, it's Sin, yes, the big baddie from Final Fantasy X. Late in the game, while aboard the airship (hence all the HUD graphics), the party approaches Sin for the big, splashy, final confrontation and all that. That's what I went for with this picture, at least. Oh yeah, and in case you might wonder, the data display is in Al Bhed, and the lower right hand corner reads "Unidentified Target: 140,000," which is how many HP Sin has. Mmm, it depends on the complexity. For the actual sculpt of, say, this guy, it took between 5-8 hours, if I remember correctly. The paint job is the same--but Sin here's paint job was pretty simple, so probably only a couple hours, what with waiting for layers to dry and all that.
