Description I can’t shake this smothering torture.
When I can barely move,
When I can feel no pain,
Why is my heart so heavy?

Why do my questions fade on the air and die?
Why does my heart rest leaden in my chest?

Takes me back to the days when every pore is clogged,
With filth and hatred from the streets.
To days when I cant hear myself sigh.

The second chance I dreamt of,
Just gives me an excuse to loath. loath.
Looking for the right time to change my mind,
I can’t leave, gonna lock every window and door,
So I can be alone, by myself-
The only person who still makes any sense.
Is it possible to lie to yourself?
To tell yourself it’ll be ok and hope it will.

I’m not alright and I fucking hate feeling this way,
Everything I know is wrong and it’ll never change.
I’m pushed to the point of twitching nervous,
To the point of taking action against those who hate me the most.

The angels sing to me, oh God, why won't they shut up and leave?
I’m insulted that they have wings, so they can fly from this place,
This filthy place.
