Slashed my arms and face on barbs to reach you,
Up staircases and passageways.
But it always ends the same –
You turn to me and your lips move,
A silent promise then you fall,
Your nightdress blowing in the cold night air.
I’ve chased you in dreams,
Dreams that can only be induced by pills,

Dream again.

Maybe tomorrow the ceiling won’t fall away,
And I won’t have to wake up terror-stricken and paranoid.

me too, it's a pretty rare occurence though. i can only usually remember them if they're REALLY intense and REALLY good or REALLY bad. and it turns out bad either way, if they're really good then i think it's real as i'm dreaming and i'm disappointed when i wake up and find that life is still as it was when i fell asleep. and if it's bad then i have an uneasy feeling for the rest of the day. *sigh* you just can't win!

lol i know exactly what you mean, i've had dreams that seem so real..even if some of the things that are happening in the dream are totally weird and strange it still feels weird. i've been hurt or killed and woken up feeling scared and upset, the mind likes to mess with us lol.
