Good luck in the contest! This makes me think of rich mahogany! I also like the almost Celtic aspect. Looks like knotwork in it! Very elegant!

Well, I ended up keeping only 10 layers and it only took 30 min to render.

I don't!...some formulas just don't take as long to render. I also rendered using the Quick anti-alias option since I don't plan on printing this one. There was one texture formula I applied to "Multiple Personality" that showed a render time of 74 hours!!!???, even using Quick. Neeedless to say I replaced that layer.
