UF4. ***Please Full View***More playing around. Putting my masking teachings to use, hopefully in a good way. Almost every layer is masked. 17 total layers.
Title is the first word my boyfriend said when he saw this.

I have one other fractal artist on my watch list, and at first I thought some of the colors and designs in her work where amazing, but I'm not so much of a fan of them anymore.
But YOU have some very unique pieces, such as this one, which I am very impressed with. You have repeated patterns, but they're not symmetrical. I really like it. And your work doesn't all look the same, which is what I normally think when I see fractal artists. Some times they don't don't formulate new ideas from each piece of art to the next.

Thank you very much for the thoughtful comment. I'm very happy you like this piece. It was one I finished after taking the UF masking class and it's a personal fave.
You are right, some fractal art does look the same, somtimes that's just the nature of the formulas being used and sometimes it's laziness but I do try very hard to find unique and interesting compositions.

That is what intrigues me about UF vs Apoph. The layering system seems fantastic.. when done properly

Layering within Apoph would be absolutely fantastic... although it's hard to top the power of Photoshop layers/effects. BUT, being able to see possible layer combinations as you design the flame would be sublime... I'm sure it'll happen at some point in the future
