Description
Made from 5 different fake furs and then airbrushed. The nose is latex and foam and the teeth are resin cast from an original mold. The gums are epoxy.I concentrated more on making a sweet cat costume than making it specifically cougarish but everything is accurate, if exaggerated.

ahh it's rainy!! i didn't get to see him up close at rf 2013 so i'm very glad i stumbled upon this so i could see his teeth and such! he's such a beautiful suit in person! the lighting in these photos really don't do his coloring justice. anyway, lovely work! i can't wait to see more from you!

Hey I know you probably don't want to answer super specific questions but what fur did you use on this? I mean like..I see three different furs. Two if the mouth is just shaved.
Oh and what kind of epoxy? I'm finding stuff at Hobby Lobby but it comes in a little tube and it doesn't dry black...

This is how I want to make mine, resin eyes, with see through tear ducts. I think I'm going to do my tear ducts purple, because I have a purple mask and there is no black in my whole suit, you don't think that would look weird when finished do you?

Sigh, I so wish I could afford to commission you. You could create my brown hyena fursona better than anyone. You manage to create such realistic creatures, even when they exaggerated or even completely fanciful.

well, beastcub is also a very excellent fursuit maker, so i dont think the confusion could be seen as an insult.
thanks for creating an excellent example for us! ive had such difficulty lately finding photos of good fursuit heads to reference in the making of mine! at some point i will probably get one commissioned, but i think i need to make one myself first so i have a realistic perspective on the difficulties of making one

The insult is in the assumption of a hierarchy among artists. I create art for myself and my customers, not in the hope of 'passing' arbitrary and arguable limits.
Thank you - yes it can be handy when customers have some knowledge of fursuit making as they often have a clearer idea of what they want and already know what will make a good costume ^^ Not to say it is a requirement however. But still it's great fun ;D
