Very nice, i myself plan to head to a furry convention in like 2011 or 2012. The only problem is that i need to either make money for a fur suit or make my own

A Kirin is a "mythical hooved chimerical creature". According to Wikipedia, the concept of a Kirin originated sometime before 500 BC.
The myth of the Kirin is ancient. But the popularity and appearance (like anything else) waxes and wanes over time.
