I wanted to give her something electric to eat, so why not a Eel? Usually Electric eels are bigger than that but I wanted it to be small enough to stay in a bowl of rice. At first I wanted to draw her eating a whole bowl of eels, but I ended up drawing an Unadon, a Japanese dish which consists in a bowl filled with steamed white rice, and topped with fillets of eel grilled. I wanted the Eel to look like a eel, that's why I haven't drawn it as a fillet.
