I'm so surprised and glad that Meggy and her team won the Splatfest. SMG4 and the others had a party celebrating Meggy's victory in the final Splatfest while Meggy sneaked away to the rooftop. While StarMan3, FM54321, and X congratulated Mario and Luigi for helping Meggy win the Splatfest.
Just a suggested theory if StarMan3, X, and FM54321 (Those recolored Marios count as main characters (since SM64 Bloopers) in the SMG4 Universe.) came along with SMG4 and the gang. It didn't happen in the movie, but I wish it did.
