These guys took like 2 hours to sketch and DAAAAYS to color. I do not know why.
You know those height and weight things in the pokedex? Yeh I completely ignored those. HORF. hey, if the anime is allowed to make a tentacruel as big as king kong, I'm allowed to make a tank turtle larger than 3 foot, okay??

Originally created this team so I could explore all the maps without having to lug around useless HM slaves. Little did I know that literally the next Pokemon game wouldn't even require HMs to explore anymore. Woe is me. I mean, we've been asking for that for years but, these dudes took a long time to train and breed hhhhh.
Still a nice idea though, a Pokemon team that doesn't need a trainer to go off on its own. And I'm already emotionally attached to them soooooo

Robin
Serperior, F
She's more of a mom than a manager, really. That's why everyone trusts her, though! Prepared, calm, comforting, but WILL fite u irl to protect the people she loves. In fact, that's probably the only reason why she'll fight you. Other than that, a very caring and supportive and wholesome person.
Moves: Cut

Orion
Lanturn, F
The grandma of the group! Even though she's actually not that old. She is the most experienced, oldest and mildest of the team, though. Patient, gentle and optimistic, the lanturn was traded into the team in exchange for a weirdly-colored magikarp. Both trainers thought they were ripping the other off.
Moves: Surf, Thunder Wave

Craig
Carracosta, M
The dad of the team, and a very good soldier. He knows how to keep the rest of the team more disciplined and focused better than their actual trainer. Relaxed, good-humored, helpful and a bit of a history nerd. No, that's a a "fossil pokemon thing," you racist. Fell into a bit of depression after LITERALLY BEING BROUGHT BACK FROM THE DEAD, YOU MONSTERS, but Robin was very supportive and he's all good now. Had the inevitable crush on her for a bit, but yeh, all good. Has that amazing whistling skill that all dads inexplicably have.
HMs: Dive, Waterfall

Joshua
Gallade
Since he absolutely ADORES his mega form and only changes back to sleep, he's technically the fastest and strongest of the team. BUT he is an innocent, pure-of-heart, jolly little fuck, so it never really shows. For real he's an idiot baby though. Everyone loves 'im.

Owen
Braviary
The ultimate fuccboi. If he was a human, he'd probably be one of those prank/dare/challenge channels on youtube. For real he is a skater dude stuck in a bird body. Surprisingly, only slightly obnoxious. Best bros with Josh, he's like a little brother to him. A pretty good beat boxer for someone who doesn't have fucking lips.
Moves: Strength, Rock Smash, Fly

Benji
Chandelure, M
Mostly just in the team to keep everyone entertained during the longer treks. Quirky, loves to spoop. Sometimes can be the "not-good" kind of weird where he stops being interesting or funny and just straight-up doesn't make sense. Completely self-contained and he do what he do just to entertain himself more than anyone else. Thank god he isn't a sadist or something. Figured out how to use his ghost powers to make his face float off of his face and change his voice a while back. He does not think that with great power comes great responsibility.

Might or might not design their trainer some day. I already have a personality in mind and a vague plot line but. Eh.
