Over 10 hours of meticulous work went into bringing this fairy dragon to life. It is made from my own patterns using two colors of authentic shannon minky. Custom printed galaxy fabric was appliqued on each piece using double sided iron on interfacing. The appliqued fabric was then edged in 3 dimensional fabric paint in sparkly silver. After that the plush was assembled and further detailed with top sewing to define areas of detail and thread sculpting on the belly (to create the appearance of scales) and on the paws (to define the toes). The eyes came from 6060 eyes and are hand painted. Finally, two acrylic gems were added to the forehead of the dragon and two horns of galaxy print fabric with silver painted details were added for an extra sparkly finish.
