And I'm not 100% pleased with how the body turned out.
[link] This was the dragon the commissioner wanted, only with gold instead of blue. But a body that long and curly would have been hard to do since my fabric is only so large.
I think this body would have looked longer if I had made smaller legs. Ah well, you live and you learn.
It looks quite cute when posed with its wrist dragon duplicate.

I've only done one commission and I probably wont do another one until I am much more comfortable with my abilities and I have a reliable resource for fake fur, feathers, etc. It's difficult to know what my end result will look like when all I am starting with is wire. On top of that finding material that looks like what people want is hard. Like for this one that was the ONLY gold fake fur I could find and it wasn't as long as the commissioners character.
But it is really cool to bring a character to life, I'd like to do it again some time. Maybe in the future.

i went into making one, i dont have a proper fabric for it yet, the wire grame is finished along with some taping, now iยดm sculpting.
the part i dont understand is How i attach the fur, i found no tutorial showing it either

There's two ways I've found. The first way, people sculpt the edge of the clay to have lots of little holes you can sew the fur into. The other way is lots of glue

i sewed fleece tubes aroudn the wire and sewed the fur onto that. its just had when u close it around the legs, especially tail to make the thick white net of the faux fur not so visible. i tried a few different stitches, its not perfect but its my first try after all x3 [link]

Looks awesome though! the posability is great. I ran into that problem too with the legs being too thick on my first dolls.
