This is a pretty amazing photo. It's one of those shots that instantly grabs your eye and makes you want to view it in full. I think the biggest thing this photo has going for it is the contrast between the building and the rest of the scene. It's such a bright and striking contrast to the rest of the image, that it gives it a powerful impact.

Then on closer look you really start to peer into the windows and try to figure out what the building used to be and what its history is and was. This is one of those photos that you can just keep looking at, and you keep noticing things.

I guess my only major criticism would be the (typically done) high dynamic range of the tones here. It's creeping to that point where it stops looking like a photo and starts looking like a digital manipulation, which isn't all bad, but I'm a firm believer that any adjustment made to a photo should take someone pointing out to you. If I can see the edit, it's a bad edit. It would have also been good to see a bit more head room at the top.

But overall, this is a very striking image. You clearly have an eye for photography. I hope you keep it up e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>

Thank you for the critique, really appreciate it! Just if I can add, if you see my gallery, I never aimed for 'photorealism' with this kind of pictures, I don't really enjoy that. In my landscape pictures perhaps more, but these urbex/industrial pieces - these I want to be creeping out, that's really what I feel conveys the atmosphere of those places, not just what the bare camera can take.

I get ya Β  Yeah there's always some editing done to try and convey the feeling you have while there taking the photo.Β  I guess I just see so many shots like this that have the HDR cranked to the max, that I'm a bit sensitive to it now.
