Haha. A tip to improve your memory, read more Alan Moore books. And try to act out the scenes by yourself, with no one watching and without the book. Benefits: You'll have fun doing it.
The way I do it is I pick out 10 really hard to spell words from the dictionary and memorise it. I know, strange..
