Geta wo Azukeru(to leave everything to someone)
24" x 24" acrylic on canvas
This was based on a dream sequence from サムライチャンプルー. I found the images astoundingly beautiful. I just knew I had to do my interpretation of this frame.

Wow, that is stunningly gorgeous. It was probably a stroke of luck that I was just creeping your gallery when I came across the 'traditional art' section (I didn't even realize you had one) - and I find it really sad that you have gotten barely any comments on it at all D: especially when this is actually really amazing art. The colors and feel of the picture all blend together really well and it's just so flipping wonderful; it brings me to a place in my memories that's really relaxing and nice. [This artwork is probably really old, but still, I feel like it should be commented on anyways].

How beautiful. (: I love the softness and brightness of this image - the sandals look nice. The shadows and tones are very neatly done, too! The shadow of the tree is very good - it's not too dark, but not too light. ^^ Wonderful work!
