Created illuminated letter "B" in flemish miniature style.On peut y lire une évocation des 3 degrés de l'amour selon la vision médiévale . En bas l'amour profane : la sirène sur le banc de pierre sur lequel est assis le musicien. Lui-même ainsi que la dame, symbolise l'amour courtois. Au dessus, le couple de faucon et le nid symbolise l'amour céleste. Mais on peut y voir aussi la mélancholie amoureuse, par la structure en bois mort de la lettre.

When I saw this, I thought it was one made hundreds of years ago. I've never seen this style of illumination done so well in recent times.
The detail is exquisite, you must have spent ages on this. I'm curious, though. Why is she holding a pitcher to his ear? I must be missing something.

thanks all for comment ! She's going to hold a pitcher to his mooth (not to his ear : if i've drawn the pitcher touching the mooth , it woold hide the face of the musician)! It symbolise the thirsty of love ! It's a transitional moment : He's just stop to play music because she wants to offer him some wine or "philtre d'amour" !
