This is absolutely wonderful and perfectly done! I did illuminations myself but those were not half that good in quality. The style is precise and perfectly executed gilding/silvering.
May I ask which sort of base coat you used for that? I only know of *red bolus* a sort of gelly-like, red paint, which can be polished and dries raised.
