Description Amur tiger, Columbus Zoo.

This would be Foli, the male tiger at my zoo, having a rare moment of peace as the female takes a break from stalking him.

MEOOOW. What an alpha cat

Good choice of square crop in this portrait, but I still feel there's not enough space on his right where his eyes are gazing. And the left are just occupied by snow. But, yesh, good choice of square.

Focusing really accurate, I can see lots of fine white whiskers, and I love it. And the pink nose is just so catty Focusing on the eyes may be a good alternative choice as well, since it's probably wondering bout the females. Or just focus on the whole thing with a smaller aperture. Yeah, I know how annoying focusing can get, when it focuses on something else and you only realise it on the computer in full view.

Your zoo, eh? Interesting

Can tell in your capture his mind is probably wandering where she is right now.
Nice detail on this one too

I'd think he were a happy, snuggly fella if I didn't know he was a walking weapon.

Very nice piece!

Lol!

Thank you

One of the zookeepers and I were talking about that actually (it was a very cold Monday... pretty much the only ones at zoo were the zookeepers and me >.> ) and we both agreed he looked snuggly and it was a shame that he's not really...

Yeah. It's kinda cool to be at a Zoo when there's no one but you & the Keepers.
