Description
I wasnted to capture his resting solitary pose, to create an intimate portrait in a meditative pose that all around him is closed in centred on the figure and the centre of luminosity. I thought of carravaggios chirascuro dramatic paintings, and wanted to create a dramatic intense portrait imbued with an inner darkness.Related content

Aww thanks, I am trying to improve each day. I think the lighting could have been more directional.
