Edan, my OC, contemplating his life, what he is, and what it all means... and it is indeed a difficult thing to consider for him (yeah, he can be very angsty at times).

Thankfully, he does a good job of balancing his emotions, but I think we all have moments where we take a step back and think about things deeply. Sadly for him, he’s had a very hard life, and deep thoughts usually mean bringing bad memories to the surface. Despite that, he tries hard not to forget what’s happened, and to remember all those he’s lost over the years. The way he sees it, they live on only in his memories, and if he forgets them, they really are gone forever. The people he's loved and lost, and the memories of his life back then make him who he is, and keeps him on the right path. In an odd way, the memories of his past are the only way for him to stay sane when facing the truth about himself, they being the only reminder he has of the part of himself that others once loved, the part he desperately holds onto, as he struggles against that which he fears most, the demon within his own soul, his other self… the sad truth he can never escape.

Was playing around with some new techniques, and Edan is just such an easy subject to draw for me. This ended up better then I had originally anticipated so... Edan, for the win! XD It's a nice simple piece, but it has a lot of feeling, which I just love.

It was easy and fun to draw, so hope ya like it. =3
