Theodore Robert Bundy was born on November 24, 1946 and died on January 24, 1989. He was an American serial killer who was also known as the Charismatic Killer.
Ted Bundy was born as Theodore Robert Comwell by his unmarried mother and his father is still unknown. Bundy was the last name of his stepfather whom his mother married in 1951. In 1965 he graduated from High School and was awarded for a scholarship by the Universtiy of Pugent Sound, where he took courses in psycholoy and Oriental studies. After two semesters he decided to transfer to Seattle's University of Washington. in the fall of 1973 he enrolled the law school of the University of Pugent sound. Meanwhile he also worked at the Seattle Suicide Hotline, a suicide crisis center that served the greater Seattle metropolitan and suburban areas and as a salesclerk in a shou shop. Bundy had worked for the Republican Party either.
In 1973 the murders began. Bundy who had a very charismatic appaerance often asked women to follow him to his car. Sometimes he also pretended to be injured. Then he kidnapped the women and strangled them until they passed out. He used to rape the unconscious women and then strangled them to death. After he had killed his victims he got rid off the corpses, but often returned to the crime scene to masturbate there. He was active between 1973 and 1978. He was arrested twice, but the first time he had been arrested he could flee. He told his attorney he has to go to the toilet and then he jumped out of the window. Before the police could get him, hitch hikers used to hold signs which said: "I'm not Ted Bundy." In 1977 he was imprisoned in Colorado where he managed to break out again by crawling through the small crawl space in the ceiling. On January 13, 1978 he was caught again in Florida and the trial could began. He was accused of the murders of 30 young women. Only 28 murders were proved. He was sentenced to life imprisonment and the death penalty. during his second trial he married Caroll Anne Boone, one of his fromer co-workers. She gave brith to their child in 1982. In 1989 Bundy was executed by electric chair (a.k.a. "Old Sparky") for his last murder in the state of Florida.
