No more then doing the land itself
Animating water was pretty straight forward, just tedious and lengthy. I wanted to complete it all at once so I don't forget the pattern/system of how I was doing it.

Since it's zoomed from far away, the water animation had to be subtle, otherwise it would look odd. Glad you like it
