I've been painting with my oils a lot more this year and I have really been enjoying it, this one was so much fun to paint. The shape of the wood and the bark on the sides I think goes really well with Neytiri and the gold is very luminous in real life. This was my first time using imitation gold leaf on an oil painting and I plan on using it more in the future as well.
