For International Women's Day I wanted to draw my heroes, and examples from anime, movies and books in the 90s and the begining of the millenium.

Sailor Moon, the crybaby (such as myself when I was 6 yo) that became a hero and was another type of princess.

Lina Invers and Amelia Will Telsa of Seyruun from Slayers. The Black wich and the White priestess that fought braver than men.

Bulma Briefs. The scientist, the genius, the woman that spoke her mind even to the scariest and most evil creature in the whole Universe (For me, there wouldn't be Dragon Ball without her).

Leia Organa. Another type of princess. A Warrior, a Rebel. Another one that spoke her mind and fought evil.

Hermione Jean Granger. The Brightest Wich of her generation. The one that showed me that intelligence and being nerd was worth it. Also friendship.

This day is bittersweet, most of us think that this day is to honor the fallen women of the world, but also to be happy that there will always be much more women to keep fighting. From the smallest fighter to the greatest, "We gotta Power".
