Isn't skin amazing stuff?! I like your macro shots. The lighting (natural?) is beautiful. Thanks for sharing

I don't know how to use photoshop either. I think I have a mental block about it. Maybe I should do a course in it.

I find skin fascinating. It photographs really well when it has side lighting to highlight texture. And different parts of the body have different textures, like comparing hand skin and foot skin and knee skin. Skin is brilliant!! LOL Anyway, I like your shots

I agree there's a line for me as far as how much manipulation you do to an imgae. What that line is I won't know until I am working on it I guess. The creative process sort of carries you along doesn't it? I can see how being good at PS could lead you further into manipulations of the images. Perhaps the way we are thinking could change once we know how to do things. What do you think?

yea, i think i agree... its just seems slightly unfair that someone can completly change an image to make it amazing and then someone else can take a raw amazing photo and get the same credit. yet sometimes using PS to an extream can make an image more facinating.

Yeah you're right. If we think as an artist, and not as a photographer specifically, then I guess anything goes but since I'm more into photography I prefer only little use of 'electronic magic' Perhaps to cover a mistake (LOL) or to make it black & white say. But then, yeah, where is the line?

yes!
totally agree
is there a line? i think it depends on the individual..

Yes, the individual and the shot itself I guess. So for poor little me, my photos HAVE to be untouched cause I don't know the first thing about PS!! LOL
