These project consisted of 3 9x4 pieces that surrounded the theme of Florida. (whoopie...) Actually it was quite fun. We had to do one in black and white, one in supplementary colors (opposites...right?), and one in color or anything. I found this crane in a magazine and I decided to do it in pen and ink. this is beautiful! Actually, the first thing I thought of when I saw it wasn't Florida - it was Japan! lol, I know you love Japanese culture and stuff, and it's cool how it shows up in your art! The sun looks like the rising sun on their flag, and the bird looks like some kind of representative flying between distant lands.
It's extraordinary, really, it is.
