STORY TIME EE"Master?"
The voice of her dear friend made Bella prick her ears. Her eyes were trained outside her little window, her only view of the world from her sleeping quarters.
"Master." The voice again. Bella did not turn around. Her focus was unbreakable.
She was silent for a long moment.
"My little bird, you should be asleep. We have a long day tomorrow." Bella said finally. There was another silent pause.
"Yes, master." The Padawan said sadly.
"Rest well, little bird." When the Padawan left, Bella's long banded tail flicked ever so slightly, and the door slid shut with a soft sweeping sound.
