OMG AT LONG LAST!!! SO VERY HAPPY!!!! *squeal*
this took me about 2 days but im sooooo happy with it i love this new shading style and the BG

story:

The big dya had come at long last and excitment was surley in the air for noot only the people but the horses as well. DEvil and Juliet were eager and ready to go when they saw nat and taylor walking towards their stalls with feed buckets in hand.
While the horses ate the girls chatted and tacked up their respective steeds and got ready themselves dressed and ready . Once all was said and done they mounted up and lead them out into the warm up ring. Devil pranced around with high strides and small bursts of energy, he was ready to go. Juliet however was containing herself, eyeing up her compedators including the younge and hyper devil whome was her travle companion. The 2 horses eyed eachother up, they knew the others racing style and planned on working this to their advantage as well as the hot and barmy ( aussie for humid/ muggy, ect ) weather over some of the compedators from colder reigons or who may not be used to such conditions.

They entered the starting gates easily enough, juliet keeping her head and devil leaning back on the gate, giving nat the irrits as she tried to get him to walk forward. The 2 women looked at eachother and shook hands before pulling their goggles down, nat gave a smirk " and may the odds...", "be ever in your favour" taylor finished with a laugh.
The buzzer sounded and the gates opened, sending the horses flying out across the track. juliet quickly headed up around the outside to the middle of the pack , slowerly inching forwards while devil hung back.
When they were approaching the 800M mark , devils speed kicked in and he flew up the outside, passing many compedators along the way including juliet, quickly claiming the open feild. Juliet didnt like that and pursed him quickly, coming up his side.
if there was one thing both horses hated more then loosing.... it was loosing to eachother.
Nat pushed devil and Taylor pushed juliet, , trying to get the best out of both younge horses and to get the best results. neither was breaking a sweat yet, only the turf under hoof in their endless powerful strides and determination towards the finishing post.
