in a daze, foxtongue followed her motions, his large body placing
itself cozily next to the leader. the forest of fire met its end with a
smoky finish, a silvery water to douse the flames as their fur mingled
and fought for dominance. foxtongue risked wrapping his tail around
her, his body making a small crescent with her at the center. it was
quite poetic, the switch of roles as the burning sun took the crescent
moon’s place in framing the full moon instead.

just a lil rp between foxtongue and dewstar as she asks him to sleep in her
den so she doesn't have nightmares, and then end up in a little entaglement
of unspoken feelings and tension. dewstar finally gets the rest she craved and
even dared to dream of foxtongue in her sleep.

when he curled around her it made me think of those old pictures where the sun
is in the center and the crescent moon frames it, but since fox is the sun and dew
is the moon it was a cool role reversal so i had to draw it :>
