My (......overdue, huehuehue) entry for 's event, "Mayternity Through Time", exploring Aztec mythology!
also, my Mother's Day piece

I tried to do a bit of research for this and what I came up with is something of an amalgamation of some of the more colorful aspects of depictions of Aztec mythology.
though with my luck I fucked it up.

What I ended up with was designing a fictional deity, exploring how mythology might have depicted her versus how she may have actually been.
(I went with the mythological depiction)

Would she have ACTUALLY had fire hair? Maybe, maybe not. I leave that up to you to decide and interpret! ^_^
