This is a cat I found down an alleyway in Kobe, Japan. I have no idea how I managed to spot him from the street so far, especially since I was in mid-conversation with two of my friends. And yet, I dropped the conversation, let the two others walk on and took several pictures of this cat and of the few others behind him/her. Almost lost my friends too, and losing someone in a foreign country isn't as amusing as you'd think -- last time it happened, I didn't see them again for 2 weeks, 250km from the last spot we'd seen each other
Japanese street cats are certainly not like any I've ever seen in Canada or Italy. Their miao is also very different!
