I like it, sweet and simple. Plus it's a pain to try and find a lot of gears....had to tear apart an old broken clock for the bits...

Seriously, the best way to get them is to do that! Buy a clock from a charity shop or something and then rip it to pieces!

I love it. It looks so official, particularly with the wings behind the clock gear. Also really love the stone thingy (since I am not sure what to call it) at the bottom.
I have to ask, how on earth did you photograph it without funny light effects? I have all sorts of nightmarish problems when I try to photograph my metal ornamented sculptures.

thanks!
but as to how i avoided funny lighting problems...i took a ton of shots, changing the light and moving things around each time, and tried to have most of my light pointed everwhere but the metal. Then when i had gotten a shot that looked good enough to me, i.e, no major lens flares and such, i cleaned the rest of it up in photoshop....so in other words i cheated!
as for the stone/pendent...i think they were shooting for an amethyst when they were making it, but it's acrylic resin (i think) that's the antique store find, so i really don't know what it is...

In other words, I need to learn how to use Photoshop and tricks to indirect lighting. Thanks for the information.
